Born in raised in the town I still live in I am a 40 something scrapper who still feels like I am in my 20’s! I have two boys (Max, 14 and Harrison, 9) who are my main scrapping inspiration! I love photography and have been having fun with Adobe actions and playing with my photos.
I have been scrapping close to 12 years and have evolved my style somewhat but have remained pretty true to myself.
I have been on several design teams over the years but am currently enjoying scrapping as a hobby – although I do still submit to the magazines and enjoy seeing my work in print.
What is your favorite color(s) to work with? I love all colors but lately I’ve been working with a lot of girly colors – light pink, soft green.
What would you say is your "fingerprint" on your scrapbook pages? (i.e., what do most of your pages have that make it your signature style?) I think my signature is clean and simple (as always) with some kind of sewing on every page!
What do you find most challenging when working on a layout? Design! Finding new and exciting ways to place pictures and place embellishments. I am very embellishment challenged so finding the right product and placing it correctly is always a challenge for me.
What is your favorite part about CSI--the colors, the stories, or the inspiration? I would have to say the colors and the inspiration. I find that CSI makes me reach for products I would never normally use!
Confession time. Okay, fess up! What secret do you not want to admit but are willing to confess here? Maybe I am not the only one but I am a very messy scrapper – I have stuff in almost every room of my house! I also have way too much stuff! What can I say – I love product!
