Happy Friday, CSI Members! And Happy June! You know what a new month means here at CSI--lots of new surprises. We have a new sponsor, a whole new batch of guest designers, and a new theme to tie our Case Files together.

We want to thank  C'est Magnifique Kit Club for their generosity in sponsoring us and the wonderful C'est Magnifique designers for joining us as Guest Detectives in May. We also want to thank all of our other guest designers that shared gorgeous inspiration with us all month long: Anna Sigga, our Special Agent, and our team of Special Investigators, Ashley Horton, Gayle Price, Helen Wallace, and Jennifer Snyder (and her sidekick Escape Kitty). We are beyond excited to have Emma Trout as our Special Agent this month! I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I got the email from Emma saying yes to my invitation to be our Special Agent. Emma is my all-time favorite scrapper, and it is such an honor to have her here with us this month.

We are celebrating all things royal in June, as June is the month of the Queen's Birthday! My very good British friend, Tracee Provis told me that this year is an especially momentous year, as it's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. This year, the Queen will celebrate 60 years on the throne. Our inspiration image (aka "The Scene") came from Castles, Crowns, and Cottages blog.

COLOR DETAILS AND RGB CODES (USE ALL 5 COLORS)

• Royal Blue - A medium navy blue, taken from the girls' headband - 58.93.135
• Queen's Kraft - A pale kraft, taken from the highlights of her crown - 231.225.213
• Imperial Blue - in the blue family, sort of a light cadet blue, taken from the water - 199.206.214
• Once Upon White - plain old white - (I generated it because there was no true white in the pic) - 255.255.255
• Regal Red - a true red, taken from the red in the band around the crown - 175.8.28

 

EVIDENCE (CHOOSE AT LEAST 2 ELEMENTS)

Hi.  This is my first case I've solved with CSI.  I found the site 2 days ago and couldn't wait to have a go!  I have included all 5 colour details, ( although Queen's Kraft and  Imperial Blue aren't exact but as near as poss).  I have used a chevron pattern in the 'ADVENTURE' card, corrugated cardboard to accent the rocks in the Grand Canyon, baker's twine (if that counts as yarn/fibre and wet medium is glimmer mist on the rock detail at the bottom of the pages.  Finally my testimony is the jounaling begins " Once upon a time..." and think I've used trim on journaling spot.  Thank you! This site has really inspired me!!
