Happy Friday! And Happy July! A new month brings new, exciting things to CSI...a new sponsor, a new theme, and new guest designers!

We would like to say a big thank you to Little Black Dress Kit Club for sponsoring us in June. We also want to thank all of our June guest designers for providing such gorgeous inspiration all month--Ginny Hughes, Kerri Babbitt, and Valerie O'Neall, our Little Black Dress Guest Detectives; Emma Trout, our June Special Agent; and our July Special Investigators, Arnlaug Koppang, Elaine Rolfe, Irma Peredne, and Paloma Carvalho. You ladies all brought such richness to our royal celebration in June!

Now, are you ready to hear about July?

We are so excited to announce that our July sponsor is Echo Park Paper Company! Echo Park's many collections are full of fun, happy colors and patterns that make them so versatile and a joy to use. Be sure to visit Echo Park's blog for loads of inspiration. Our July winner will receive a collection kit of their choice, and there are so many wonderful collections to choose from! You will see some of the design team using Echo Park products throughout the month. See if you can spot who has used them this week!

Our July Special Agent is someone I've known and admired for many years: Jill Sprott! Jill's creativity, talent for combining patterns, and gift of words will inspire you for sure! In addition to being wildly talented, Jill is also a humble sort of girl, and since she didn't share a few of her amazing scrappy accomplishments in her bio, I'll brag for her. Jill is a Two Peas in a Bucket Garden Girl and also designs for Jenni Bowlin Studios Mercantile and October Afternoon.

And speaking of being wildly talented, we are thrilled to reveal July's  team of Special Investigators: Di Garling, Jacynthe Loubier, Lindy Gillespie, and Yumi Takasaki. These ladies are all enthusiastic participants at CSI, and their gorgeous work consistently catches our eye in the gallery.

Please use the links to visit all these ladies' pages in the Guest Detective forum to say hi and to hear how they responded to our "Interrogation."

Did you know that July is National Ice Cream Month? This fun celebration will tie together all of July's delicious Case Files.

As always, Michele has created a delectable set of printables for you! CSI Coordinates can always be found at the bottom of the reveal threads.  Scroll all the way to the bottom, where it says "Attachments." They are just above the reply box. Read about some tips on how to use these cool printables here

Our first Case File Celebrating National Ice Cream Month is inspired by a whimsical image from one of my favorite ice cream makers, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. This yummy image is chock full of inspiration!

So are you ready for this week's challenge? Grab your forensics kits, CSI members, and get ready for some serious sleuthing as we open Case File No. 27.

(Remember to scroll all the way down for RGB codes, color descriptions, and more thorough explanations of the Evidence and Testimony.)

Here is how Special Agent Jill Sprott solved Case File No. 27...

This is how our talented team of Special Investigators have solved the case...

Hi, Anupama, if you look at the Coordinates, you'll see that Michele made us a little rainbow in our colors! (I have used it on my layout).

This case file is so happy and summery! I wish I could have some of that icecream too (I have never tasted Ben & Jerry's). So happy to see Jill as our Special Agent this month, Jill's patterend paper challenge at Two Peas years ago (2006 I think) was what made me start posting layouts online.

The special investigators did a fabulous job too!

Anna-Karin, is it funny that every time I see your name, I still think "Patterned Paper Challenge"?  :)  We go way back.

Yes, that was one of my all-time favorite challenges at 2Peas! I still have Ali's book. :)

Love this case file! And want that icecream, please?;-) Hope I get the chanse to do this before the holiday guests arrive:-)

Wow, this is a great one. Love the colors. I'm pretty sure to find those somewhere in my stash.

aww i must have joined at the right time!!! i love ben and jerrys icecream!!! and i didnt know it was icecream month!! we just brought icecream tonight for dessert so good timing :)

where do I post my LO for case #27? this is my first time....please to help me!

another gorgeous palette...and amazing inspiration everyone!!!

I finished mine and uploaded it! yippie!

This is my very first time on CSI- I am ready to enter the challenge, but I'm not 100% on how to do it or how to view the other entries. Anyone?

Ok, I also just now opened the CSI coordinates file. Was I supposed to use those on my page? Man- I hope not, because I made my page before I even signed up here-so I can't use them now-they are so great too!
