Happy Friday! And Happy August! A new month brings fun new surprises to CSI--a new sponsor, new guest designers, and a brand-new theme to tie our Case Files together.
We are delighted to have Peace, Love & Scrapbooking as our August sponsor! Peace, Love & Scrapbooking was born out of a passion for scrapbooking and preserving memories. They strive to put together kits that feature the latest products from several manufacturers ... taking care to make sure everything coordinates perfectly! Each kit is jam packed with paper and embellies and will always contain enough product for you to create several stunning layouts or cards. Peace, Love & Scrapbooking isn't a typical kit club, there is no membership or monthly minimums ... just beautiful kits at one low price! You choose what you want, when you want it and how many of each kit you'd like!
Our August Special Agent is Bente Fagerberg. Bente is a master at distressing and using color to complement her photos. Her beautiful work has a shabby, homespun feel that is sure to inspire us all this month!
August brings us a new team of talented Special Investigators. Please welcome Ali Parris, Belinda Spencer, Debbie Standard, and Milagros C Rivera. These ladies' work has consistently caught our eye in the gallery, and we are thrilled to have them with us this month!
Please use the links to visit all these ladies' pages in the Guest Detective forum to say hi and to hear how they responded to our "Interrogation."
As always, Michele has created a fabulous set of printables for you! Check out the awesome compass word art and all the cool patterned papers she's included this week! (Note: the Coordinates are attached as two separate files this week.)
CSI Coordinates can always be found at the bottom of the reveal threads. Scroll all the way to the bottom, where it says "Attachments." They are just above the reply box. Read about some tips on how to use these cool printables here.
So are you ready for this week's challenge? Our theme for August is Down by the Sea. This week's Case File was inspired by "Key West Umbrellas" by Mark Schuver, whose gorgeous photo caught my eye in the Flickr gallery, and I just knew it would be the perfect colors to kick off our August challenges.
Grab your forensics kits, CSI members, and get ready for some serious sleuthing as we open Case File No. 31.
(**Remember to scroll all the way down for RGB codes, color descriptions, and more thorough explanations of the Evidence and Testimony prompts.)

Thanks so much!
These colors were daunting until I found these pics I recently got printed from a CD my sister had made from my parents old slides!
Cool! So happy it worked out for you, Janelle!
Fab! My next Quirky kit is on the way and I'm thinking it might just work for this colour combination ... trouble is I'm having quite a few internet problems at the moment - can't download the Co-ordinates and I always LOVE the CSI Coordinates! Some brilliant inspiration from everyone as usual - thank you!
Hi, Annie. If you want to message me with your email address, I could send you the Coordinates in a file through email.
Thanks Debbi, but I'm cooking with gas again now! Couldn't get online at all for a while, then could get some sites and not others ... all very frustrating but all ok now. It's horrible being cut off from the net isn't it - I felt quite bereft!
Couldn't believe it when I managed to get online again this evening - after skimming through the hundreds of emails that had built up over a couple of days the first thing I did was check out CSI and discovered that I was being Watched - how exciting, thank you!!!
Anyway, it's well gone midnight here and I have to work early tomorrow so best get some zzzzzz. All the best and thanks again
