Hello from Puerto Rico

I came across this site when I visited Mili's blog, from the Paper Boutique Scrapbooking Studio in Fajardo, one of my favorite places to hang out and one of my favorite people to hang out with.   I am blessed with two fine scrapbooking studios close to home and an ever-developing one at home.  I started scrapbooking again after my husband got sick 1 1/2 years ago and found it to be very therapeutic, and the gals at Scrapaganza, Davenport, Iowa, were my pillars of support.  My, how the scrapbooking world has changed since Creative Memories in 1999! I am truly looking forward to honing my scrapbooking design and technique skills here in this community.  Glad I found you.

Welcome in! I'm new too but excited to make friends and be part of the community. I like the way the "cases" here are structured and the twist on scrapping challenges make it fun. I've never scrapped with anyone before so I'm intrigued by your comment about scrapbooking studios and hanging out with other people while you do it. I wonder if they have some of these communities around me. I look forward to seeing your work.

Hi, Shari! Welcome to CSI! So happy you found us. Milagros is such a sweetheart and a wonderful scrapper, too! How awesome that you have a friend to scrap with!

I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I agree that scrapbooking can be therapeutic. It's a wonderful escape and outlet, as well as a means to put your heart on paper.

And I hear you about the evolution from Creative Memories to now! Looks like you and I have been scrapping about the same amount of time.
