How will winners for the sponsor's prize be chosen?

Hi, CSI Members!

I had a member send me a message asking this question, and I'm sure others are wondering, too, so I thought I'd bring up the question here in this forum.

I plan to wait until all the January deadlines are up, and then use random.org to choose a number from the number of layouts in the gallery for the month, and if the number chosen has followed all the rules (i.e.,  it's a scrapbook layout; was completed by the deadline; used the colors, evidence, and testimony from the Case File), then they're the winner. If they didn't follow all of the rules (or if it happens to be a design team member that the number lands on), then I'll use the random.org number generator again, until I find an eligible winner. That's the only fair way I can think of chosing. :)

So, for January, the last challenge is posted on Friday, January 27, and the deadline for completing the last challenge will be Sunday, February 5. Sometime during the following week, I will choose the winner and announce it on the front page and notify that person. I'll give them two weeks to send me their address, and if I don't hear from them, I'll choose another winner, using the same process described above.
