June Special Investigator - Arnlaug Koppang

My name is Arnlaug Koppang. I live on the beautiful island Stord in the western part of Norway. I'm married and we have two amazing little girls at the age 3 and 1 1/2. I've been scrapping on and off since 2007, but the last year I'm finally  scrapping as much as I  like. My "drive" to scrap is growing and I just love it! I look for inspiration everywhere and am especially getting tons of inspiration here at CSI!

I'm so lucky to be a member of the design team at Skissedilla, a Norwegian sketch-challenge blog.

Interrogation

What is your favorite color(s) to work with? I love green and yellow! And also blue, but for some reason I scrap with pink the most:-) Maybe because of my girls;-) But love pink as well:-)

 What would you say is your "fingerprint" on your scrapbook pages? (i.e., what do most of your pages have that make it your signature style?) I'm not sure I can identify a special signature, I always do lots of different things and have fun with it:-) But if I have "real" scraps, like tickets, wrapping, leaves to go with the story, I always use them. And also I LOVE color!

What do you find most challenging when working on a layout? To use big beautiful flowers. I can never put together one of those gorgeous flower clusters.  Luckly I manage once in a while, and create a real princess layout. 

What is your favorite part about CSI--the colors, the stories, or the inspiration?  I'll take it all, but I'm getting a ton of inspiration here! Beautiful color combos I wouldn't come up with on my own, and the use of evidence forces me to use my stash:-)

Confession time. Okay, fess up! What secret do you not want to admit but are willing to confess here?  I collect all kinds of small things to use on my layouts. And sometimes I'll try to trade with my girls if they have a sticker or maybe a hair clip I want;-)
