Hi, my name is Ginny Hughes and I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years now.  I live in New Hampshire with my husband and 5 kids, so I always have tons of inspiration and reasons to scrap! I love to try new products and techniques. Some days I feel like keeping it clean and simple, other days I layer away! I have been really lucky to have met some amazing people in this craft and have had lots of fun opportunities.

Interrogation

What is your favorite color(s) to work with? It really changes from season to season since I am mainly inspired by the photos I take. I always come back to blues and greys though.

What would you say is your "fingerprint" on your scrapbook pages? (i.e., what do most of your pages have that make it your signature style?) I love to mix alphas, rarely do I end up with a layout that just has one font on it :) and my go to design element is circles, if I am stuck without any ideas I go straight for the circle punch!

What do you find most challenging when working on a layout? Starting it! I usually start with a photo and see what direction it takes me.

What is your favorite part about CSI--the colors, the stories, or the inspiration? I think the inspiration, it is a great jumping off point when you are starting a page.

Confession time. Okay, fess up! What secret do you not want to admit but are willing to confess here? I love the TV show "The Walking Dead" but it scares the crap out of me. I always need to sleep with a light on after I watch it. I should stop, but I can't!!

Hi, Ginny! So excited to have you as our Guest Detective this month.  Okay, I had to look up "The Walking Dead" because I never heard of it. Found a trailer, and now I must find this show, LOL. Love scary stuff! (Night of the Living Dead was my favorite movie when I was a kid!)
