My name is Erin Yamabe, and I have had a long standing love affair with paper and glue! I'm a stay at home Mom, to two beautiful and sassy little girls, who are the main subjects of my work!
When I'm not scrapbooking, I'm active with my daughter's schools and church, I enjoys spi, zumba, and boot camp classes, and date nights with my hubby!
I've worn several hats in the industry...as a designer, instructor, and DT Coordinator. Currently, I'm designing for Ruby Rock-It Bella! Fundamentals, Therm O Web, Punky Sprouts, and My Little Shoebox. My true passion lies in teaching classes, and I am fortunate enough to teach locally, at CHA, and abroad. My work can be found in both U.S. and Japanese magazines, Scrapbook Memories TV Show, QVC UK, and at CHA.
What is your favorite color(s) to work with? I love anything teal at the moment...
What would you say is your "fingerprint" on your scrapbook pages? (i.e., what do most of your pages have that make it your signature style?) I love to layer, and right now, I seem to add stitching to almost anything I create...mostly in shapes.
What do you find most challenging when working on a layout? When I'm given a specific set of products.
What is your favorite part about CSI--the colors, the stories, or the inspiration? All of the above!
Confession time. Okay, fess up! What secret do you not want to admit but are willing to confess here? I am a night owl, and after a day of taking care of my littles and the house, I crave my own scrappy time, just for me!
