Hello! I’ve been an avid scrapbooker for over 12 years and I just love that I get to learn something new everyday. My inspiration for most of my crafting comes from my husband, Nick, and my 2 pups Rocko & Bella. The projects I like to create the most are mini albums, home decor, and altered art. However, I have found a new love for creating layouts, too. When I am in my craft room creating I must have a Diet Coke with me! I guess it fuels my creativity.

I’ve worked at and taught classes at my LSS until they closed in June of 2011. I then decided to start my own online kit club, The Paper Bakery, and I am loving every minute of it. I’m expanding my scrapbooking and paper crafting talents every single day by challenging myself with new techniques and products.

Interrogation:

What is your favorite color(s) to work with? It seems to change every time I do a project, but since it's spring out now I would have to say soft yellows and pinks. 

What would you say is your "fingerprint" on your scrapbook pages? (i.e., what do most of your pages have that make it your signature style?) Hmmm, this is a toughie. I would have to say multiple textures. I like to mix different mediums on my projects: book pages, wood, metal, fabric, etc. If it's got something "out of the box" on the project it is most likely mine. 

What do you find most challenging when working on a layout? Making the layout not look like the one I just did!! I often run into a certain design I like and want to make 20 of them. I push myself to try new things so I don't have the same look on all my projects.

What is your favorite part about CSI--the colors, the stories, or the inspiration? I am absolutely loving the colors!! This is the first color challenge site I have tried and it is so fun keeping within the color story. I guess I usually want to put 100 different colors on a page. 

Confession time. Okay, fess up! What secret do you not want to admit but are willing to confess here?I often get jealous of other designers. Yes, it's true. I really try not to. I know everyone has their own style and talent, however, it's hard not to feel a little jealous sometimes ;)
