Tell Your Story. It's our tagline, and here at CSI, it's one of our missions to get our members to delve deeper into journaling--to document the meaningful bits and pieces that make up our lives. We would like to shine a special spotlight each week on a member who did an exceptional job telling their story.

Precious Memories by Lynnise Bowman

The dreamy, artistic beauty of Lynnise's layout immediately caught our attention, but it was her story that captivated us. Her journaling has an air of mystery in the beginning and hooked us right away, making us wonder what this story was about and what was going to happen. As we read further, the story became clearer, and we just love how Lynnise wove her tale. The ending of her story is poignant and thought-provoking. If you haven't read this, you must do so right away!

Each week, five layouts that caught our eye will be chosen to feature as our "Most Wanted." With so many amazing layouts in the gallery, it was incredibly hard to narrow the "lineup" down to five, but here they are, in no particular order. (Please click on the title beneath the layout to take you to the layout in the gallery where you can leave the creators some comments.)

Wanderlust by Joyce Lawrence

Joyce's layout is breathtakingly beautiful! The black and white photo looks stunning with these soft colors, which in turn look so lovely against the white background. Joyce's background work is amazing, and the layers under the photo with all those little bits peeking out are just wonderful! We were so impressed that Joyce created her own starfish with clay and a carving knife! We were also amazed to find out that Joyce almost gave up on writing a haiku because what she came up with is brilliant, and we were tickled by the additional story she has hidden. A gorgeous and striking design Joyce has created!

Treasured Memories by Di Garling

Di's layout is just divine! How sweet is that sleeping babe guarded by the rose fairy! There are so many beautiful touches on this page, the flowers, the delicate butterflies, the lovely lace, the layers of distressed papers, the beautiful misting. We love how Di designed her page to have all those lovely details cradling the sweet baby, and the colors couldn't have been more perfect for those pictures. Di has truly created a treasure!

Taerna I Sjo (Toes in the Ocean) by Arnlaug Koppang

What a precious photo and a sweet, dreamy beachscape Arnlaug created on her page! This page is so soft and delicate. We love the background on this page that has so many interesting treasures buried on it--sea turtles, crabs, even a sun. We especially love the little sandcastle Arnlaug painted and adorned with pearls and seashells.

Time Flies by Roula Fournaraki

Roula's layout is just beautiful. We love that she chose the darker color to use as her background! Roula's page is so beautifully designed, with the clustering and left all that white space to show off the beautiful background, which was a perfect choice to give her page a timeworn, vintage feel. There are so many lovely little bits and pieces to savor on Roula's layout--the ruffled lace, the strung pearls, the fussy-cut birdcage, the sweet little flowers, the bits of Bloomers tucked under the circular photo. What a precious photo and story Roula has told!

On the Horizon by Lindy G

Lindy's layout is so soft and dreamy and sets a perfect mood for those beautiful sunset photos. We love hos she sanded the edges of the pictures and overlapped them. Lindy artfully layered her elements so that there is just a peek revealed, and we love the way doing that makes us look closer and closer. Her background has beautiful details, and the distressing along the edges is perfect for a beachworn feel. We adore Lindy's haiku and appreciate that she included additional journaling to capture the memories of living close to the water.

And just because there were too many fantastic layouts in the gallery, here are a few more that caught our eye.

You Are So Beautiful by Milagros Rivera

Milagros created a vision of loveliness on her page, from the photo to the lovely flowers and punched edges. All of the lacy touches are so delicate and perfect with this sweet memory. This soft palette really shows off the photo of her beautiful daughter. We love how Milagros journaled around the edge of the doily and finished it off with the liquid pearls.

Precious Moment by Beate Sandøy

Beate's layout has such a wonderful, timeless feel. The Sweet blossoms framing the photo and the delicate lace are lovely touches, and we simply adore the cluster at the top. The distressing is beautiful. A gorgeous layout by Beate!

Tell Me Your Thoughts by Shell Carman

Shell's darling photo captured our fancy! We just love how those two precious little girls are looking at each other! Shell's design is so pretty and we love all the lacy, girly touches and the whimsy added by the framed fairy and frog. Shell's layout is absolutely delightful!

Looking to the Future by Eleni Gratsia

Eleni has created a lovely page with so many creative elements. The cluster of seed beads and buttons to represent the sand in the Case File is such a clever idea. We especially love the clouds dangling from the top and how she's used them for her poem. We think Eleni's pensive poem written to her daughter is just wonderful, too!

Say Cheese by Elaine Forum Smidt

What a delightful layout by Elaine! The baby in the photos is so adorable, and we just love how she's silhouette cut them and put them in the sanded frames. The giraffes are so sweet and perfect for this toddler page, and the pink as the dominant color was a perfect choice here. Elaine's haiku is wonderful and we like how she spread it across a journaling spot and two journaling strips. We were very impressed by the hand-painted roses that mimic the posies on the baby's dress. Elaine's page is pure sweetness!
