Tell Your Story. It's our tagline, and here at CSI, it's one of our missions to get our members to delve deeper into journaling--to document the meaningful bits and pieces that make up our lives. We would like to shine a special spotlight each week on a member who did an exceptional job telling their story.

You Grow Without Me by Zeffy

Zeffy's beautiful layout is so warm and cozy and perfect with her sweet photos. We loved all the textures on her page. What most captured our heart is the touching journaling about how her lovely niece and nephews are growing up so far away. We love how Zeffys snuck so much journaling onto her layout, making it seamlessly flow into her design. The journaling on the flowers is such a lovely detail.

Each week, five layouts that caught our eye will be chosen to feature as our "Most Wanted." With so many amazing layouts in the gallery, it was incredibly hard to narrow the "lineup" down to five, but here they are, in no particular order. (Please click on the title beneath the layout to take you to the layout in the gallery where you can leave the creators some comments.)

Muy Unidas by Luzma

Luzma's page is absolutely beautiful!  These  colors look gorgeous with the black and white photo. The design of her page is wonderful. We noticed  how she broke up the vertical lines of those lacy borders with the beautiful spray of florals, and the birds add a sweetness and whimsy.  We love the title work and that sweet detail of the turned edge of the photo with some more blossoms tucked beneath it.  Luzma's page is just enchanting!

Bloom by Joyce Lawrence

What a masterpiece Joyce has created! The texture in her background is fabulous, and we adore her design with the photo and clusters at the top, balanced by that sweet little window vignette at the bottom. We were impressed to learn that Joyce fashioned the widow casing out of cardboard. How sweet is that little bird perched on the quote. Joyce did a gorgeous job incorporating the CSI Coordinates into her design. We also loved her approach to the journaling, detailing traits of each of her five sweet children.  Joyce's combination of charm, artistry, and superb design makes her page noteworthy!

So Grown Up by Elaine

The photos of Elaine's daughter are absolutely stunning and perfect with the oranges and greens in the Case File. We love the design of Elaine's page with the circle enveloping the three photos and the hand-cut roses framing the lovely pictures.  Every flower and butterfly looks perfectly placed. The tone-on-tone background with the lacy-edged paper is a beautiful detail. We enjoyed the conversational tone of her journaling.  Elaine's vibrant work of art is so captivating and makes her page a stand-out in the gallery this week!

Bloom by Jeanette Lee

The softness of Jeanette's layout drew us into it. The background of varying text prints makes such a lovely backdrop for this page. The clustering of all those blooms over the doily is stunning. The delicate hues really makes her sweet photos stand out. The delicate elegance of Jeanette's layout made it a favorite for us this week!

Jennifer's layout softly whispers "cozy and warmth," from her darling photo to her sweet journaling to the emphasis on orange. We marveled at Jennifer's mix of patterned papers. We counted at least twelve very different patterns, but she masterfully combined them into a harmonious design. We love the layering of details on her page.  Jennifer's heartwarming layout  just beckons us to linger and savor all the lovely bits and pieces of her page.

And just because there were too many fantastic layouts in the gallery, here are a few more that caught our eye.

We just love the whimsy of Co's page! The way she built up the layers of her artistic background gives her page wonderful depth and texture. We thought it was just darling how she planted that sweet little baby right inside the garden, framing her with that great big orange bloom, and the little fairy is such a sweet detail. We are thrilled that Co has ventured into journaling on her page, as she has expressed several times that journaling is challenging for her.  Co's layout is absolutely delightful!

What a fun and fabulous topic Kristin has scrapped! We love her page design with the photo hugging the side and that big circle housing her fun, alliterative title. Her flower cluster is so lush and gorgeous, and how cute are those little vegetables under her awesome photo! We especially love how Kristin journaled on that cluster of labels. Kristin's page is vibrant and utterly delicious!

Patrice's layout is so sweet and we think she did a fantastic job using the CSI Coordinates to design her page.  We love how the bird in the basket seems to be talking to the sweet little girl in the photo. Patrice's journaling tugged at our heartstrings--we can all relate to the little ones growing so fast an wishing we could freeze time.

Adriana's layout is a vision of loveliness, from the lush blooms to the layered background to the beautiful black-and-white photo that looks so striking with the profusion of bold blossoms framing it. We thought the bling and flower added right on the photo was such a sweet detail, and the teal bow at the bottom was an unexpected and lovely touch. And how clever that she journaled on the branches. Every inch of Adriana's page is packed with beautiful details!

Chrysa's layout caught our eye right away. How creative is that tree! We love how she used a progression of photos to show her son growing and how she cleverly cut them into leaf shapes and added them to the tree! We thought adding the journaling to the grass was a great idea, too! What an out-of-the-box, imaginative layout Chrysa has created!

Well done ladies! Some wonderful pages!

Congrats to all the amazing artists featured this week. :)

So fun to look at all these great layouts and see if I can figure out why I like them so much.  Sometimes I can figure it out what particular technique caught my interest, sometimes not.  But it is always fun.  Thanks for sharing.
