I LOVE this weeks casefile at csi! Especially the colour scheeme.
I was really inspired by the picture in the casefile and had a lot of fun painting the background. When I saw the gorgeous layout Anna-Karin made I simply had to borrow the quote. It really fit perfectly to the message for my daughter.
This layout is about the miracle and magic of life and contains a personal letter to my oldest daughter. In the letter I tell her that one of her most important journeys in life is to follow her dreams and we will always be there to support her.
I also write about how we struggled many years before we got her. After 5 years we finally got pregnant with ivf and we were dizzie with the magic of life! We are so grateful that we got her! The letter to her tells about the joy but also the other side about being a mother. The feeling of inadequacy and the guilt I feel when I get mad at her for little things. I want to say sorry to her for that.. Everyday life is busy and there are many challenges.
Only 7 months after she was born we got a huge shock; I was pregnant again! We got another little daughter and the joy is beyond anything I knew was possible. But this miracle also brings ambivilant thoughts of guilt for not always having the time both girls want and need, and to do everything we want. And the bad feeling of having to "yell" at you so much.. But we know that one of the most precious gifts the girls have in life, is the love from their sister. We can now see them growing closer and closer and we couldn't be happier:-)
Maybe this was a bit personal but I'm sure many of you have felt the same way.
As evidence I've used:
* hot-air ballon image ( from the csi coordinates)
* something fluffy (cheese cloth)
* silhouettes images
* and sprayed "stars".
My testimony is:
* Write something unexpected about your subject.
* Tie string to or around your journaling spot.
