As orange and I are not exactly the best of friends, I first decided not to play this week but then changed my mind in the very last minute. Strange as it may be, the strawberries in the photo have a reference to books!
The evidence I used are: the metal key hole, stacked the alpha tiles on two cut out G45 book plates/labels, half of a frame as I only framed in the top and bottom, and also foliage - both chippie and mulberry. No book pages, although the b&w Prima vine has text on it.
My testimony is how I feel about books.

Thank you Tinkerbell aka Doreen for the beautiful white fbric bloomer that I misted in peachy yellow and orange hues! xoxox

Your colours are delicious! and your journalling is amazing, you are so in touch with your creative side that it just flows and is so uninhibited and natural. Oh, Eila, I simply adore your journaling! Such a wonderful metaphor, and your writing is such a treat to read! As always, your page is stunning. Beautiful textures in that cluster. Loving the gauze and beads!

Comment by Sylvia Mellander Ekman on April 22, 2012 at 1:55pm o wow! Love the journalling <3 and the fact that you actually got over your disliking orange. I know you can't stand it. The LO really shines and the strawberries are so inviting -just like the prospect of a good book! It's really making me happy to know that you feel the same about reading! xoxo sweet sweet Eila!
Beautiful layout Eila! I am glad you decided to play along! Wonderful embellishments and flowers and a great idea to use a strawberry photo as inspiration for your journaling - which is fabulous.
Jättebra journaling!! Jag känner precis samma om böcker, sedan första turerna till biblioteket med pappa som kanske treåring.

How long does it take you to create your masterpieces? I think you should frame them up and display ALL of them. :)
