Wow!!! Made it just in time!!!
Evidence:
Bird embellishment: the seagull
Patchwork effect: Photograph frame
Transluscent elements: the sinamay ribbon which looks like a net in the background and the transparency on which I printed the title
Pen work/outlining: In the patchwork and framing the page
Testimony: Used "Energy" as the starting off word for my journalling which says:
Energy in the strength of the ocean, that ocean you gaze at in awe as you explore, discover and experience this new and wonderful world opening up before your eyes.

The quiet simplicity of your page is breathtaking, Elaine. I love how the yellow cardstock strip draws attention to that sweet little babe. All of the elements on your page perfectly complement this seaside photo--the mesh, the starfish and shell bits, the seagull. My favorite detail is the spiral cut-out shapes that echo the spiral pattern in the background. And I especially love your heartfelt, poetic journaling.
