Even though I find orange very challenging, this week's palette really inspired me with its softer hues of both green and apricot.
This is my DH on his birthday some years ago, hence the glass of pink bubblies and rose bud on his lapel.
The evidence I have used is the oversized flower from Manor House Creation as well as the other smaller ones. The bling is not in the form of jewels but the misting which has lots of glimmer to it and to show you the array of colours used, here's a photo of ALL the 10 different mists used on this page:
P.S. had to correct myself after I had uploaded and seen the close up of the cluster. Had forgotten there are actually some jewels tucked in there :)

I also used gesso, molding paste, stamping, masking and you name it to get a really textural background. Here's a close-up to show you the bottom bit under the main cluster:

My journalling is at the back as usually. It's about when I met my DH late in life. How marriage takes a lot of work, even if love is there and how it can grow even under difficult circumstances.
Thank you so much for looking at my page! More close-ups coming up on my blog shortly:

Ever since I did Solanges classes I have been dying to do this type of background again & this challenge was just perfect & I can see you thought the same. This looks exquisite. You have totally nailed it. Beautiful. Cheers Di xo
Eila, OMGosh, I can’t believe you used ten mists! So gorgeous how the background looks and how it all just flows together, and that lush gathering of blooms—so beautiful and elegant. Your husband is quite handsome! I loved reading your journaling—thank you for sharing that piece of your heart.
