22 -Arla i Urtid

That girl from the challenge shot made me think of the proud women and men from the nordic mythology way back before christian time. The title is runic. A line from Völuspá which is the story of the creation of the world according to the old vikings.
The shot is a rune stone called Rökstenen.
The fir tree and the lingonberries seem very nordic to me and the wool yarn makes up the weave of life together with the journalling and shot. There were threee Nornor that spun and cut the threads of life for each and every one of us (Urd Verdandi and Skuld according to the norse mythology) Lots of symbolism here, just as I like.

Åh, så fint Sylvia! En av mina favoriter av dina layouter. När jag var kanske 9 år uppfann jag och en kompis ett hemligt runspråk, med stora och små bokstäver. I flera år skrev vi brev till varandra med språket. Borde göra en layout om det!
