These colors are soooo not me but I plunged in and really like the result!
I sprayed the kraft background with gesso (mix liquid gesso and water), added some brick red paint with a sequin waste, stamped here and there, added my photo and the word strips, stitched around and as a final step added a bunch of eyelets. Since I stitch quite randomly, I didn't want the eyelets to be in the way (been there, done that and it almost broke my sewing machine! Live and learn, LOL)
For my evidence I used circles, metal, eyelets, repetition of an element and I stamped some words upside down.
For my journaling I documented something silly: I was practicing with the self-timer on my camera but after awhile we got tired of doing the "normal" portraits which can get somewhat static and boring, so we started to make faces and act silly. In doing this, maybe we revealed our real character?
