29-Brazil 2005, family vacation

Hi Ladies! I have missed you a lot after 5 weeks of not being able to participating...
Here´s my LO for this case, 15 minutes before deadline! (that never changes hehe)
I used several different things here, first misted a watercolor page I used as base, pasted my main photo there and on top of that I placed a 12x12 acetate sheet which I had initially painted on the back with acrylics (I will be adding some close ups later tonight as soon as my blog page is uploaded... I worked with correction pen on top of acetate to doodle around the photos and painted stripes.
I used quilling for the sun and clouds and ribbon as part of a sort of frame. The butterflies are made of acetate as well, one that I have stained with the paint leftovers just to play around... I ended up using that piece of acetate for those little butterflies (punched out) and then for that circle window on the top left corner that opens to reveil the journaling.
The plastic swirls that have those ribbons as stems are actually drink/coffee mixers that I have painted on one side with acrylic paint and when turned over the color shows through without losing the transparent effect.
The title, as well as the dots from the sun and some other doodling are done with two different kinds of dimensional paint, all directly over the acetate sheet.
