3 - Wedding Day

The latest CSI: Color,Stories,Inspiration Case File Challenge, this was certainly a challenge as I didn't have any pattern paper in the colors. I have used the sheer ribbon, circle, gold element and doily from the evidence and journalled on a tag for the testimony.

Tina, this page is gorgeous.  I love the textured papers and the pretty colour scheme.  It's so soft and serene.  Beautiful.

What an awesome photo, Tina! And good for you working with a challenging challenge! Had you not told us you didn't use patterned paper, I never would've noticed. The texture you added to this page makes it seem like you used patterned papers. Lovely swirls and flowers and a beautiful page! Fab work with the colors!

Love how your came up with the background colour without using patterned paper - gorgeous texture. (And I could swear I have a photo of the same church, same era in my family photo box.)

I couldn't find these colours in my stash either.  You gave it a go with what you had and it worked out beautifully. I should keep that in mind for the next time that happens.

I love what you did with the background cardstock. Is it inked using different colours? It's not often we see layout without any sort of patterned paper. I must say the uniform colours of the different cardstock give such a soft effect...perfect for that old vintage photo. Love it!
