40 - My favourite 9

First I saw the bright colours of the file #40 intimidating, but cheerful and happy. But when I started creating I really, really loved them and the end result. I got inspired with the banner idea and created one big banner over the layout.

The layout is about my favourite 9 things. They are just randomly picked from the photos in my phone. As a matter of fact, I went through my photos before the Case was released and realized there were many pics that represented my favourite things or the things I like. A shot of inky fingers, of my daughters, of my husband on a "date night" when we went to the movies, of great foods and so on. So when I read this Case File, I just knew what I was going to do. I picked a photo from the "scrap these" pile - that's my order from a Polish scrapbooking supplier SODAlicious.

Evidence used: polka dots and stripes (in the patterned papers, ribbons and in the fabric button); ribbons (the stripy ones); circular elements (brads, frames and the punchinella marks on the background); labels (label stickers in the bunting and under the title); transparent element (the butterly from vellum as well as the piece of film transparency); numbers (as part of the title and in embellishments); cupcake accent (a little sticker in the bunting, on the left)
