Great idea making a LO out of that. I should do the same with my DH's friend who for the first six years (out of seven) that we have known him ALWAYS called me Ella, and in fact apologized the one time he remembered to call me "Ellen," which is my name. I would be pretty ticked if someone put Ella in the newspaper though, on a family member's obituary no less. Thankfully, DH's friend has in the last six months or so figured out I like being called Ellen.
