15 - Emily

I did this layout for my sixteen year old cat, Emily. She old and in poor health and doesn't get out to hunt anymore. I used acrylic paint and Jenny Bowlin's fab new letter stencil to do the title and pulled primarily from my latest Studio Calico April kits. The tiny type is from one of my mom's very old books on birds. Okay, here is the evidence: book page and text from my mom's old bird book plus stacking and layers. I documented memories of Emily's old wild rumpuses with the birds she'd catch and bring to me. My word: FUN. I did have fun with this page! And, of course, used all the colors.
