My daughter takes classes on violin, when I was a child I did the same. I spent 8 years on learning how to play this queen of musical instruments and then realized that it was not my strength, so I gave up. My DD knows this story , but she is at the age of coping me, so she insists on playing the violin. I know that it is very hard - to listen to the music in your head and then relying to your ear put the finger on to the right place. But being a 5 years old kid, she doesn't have enough patience to train many times a day. So this is the story about patience and how it is important to be strong in your dreams and aims.
I wrote the journaling and then covered it slightly with Gesso - as the reminder of you have to do efforts to do the aim (to see the journaling)

Hi, Elena, your layout is gorgeous! The background is stunning, and that photo is just magnificent. Love all the textures you've got on here. Wonderful message to your daughter and that was so creative how you added the gesso to reinforce the messsage!
