Kind of a different approach to a title. And I just ended up placing my journaling on the bottom. Nothing fancy. My original intent was to remark on the "wave" appearance of the cloud, but I ended up going an entirely different direction.
I used ruffles (pink paislee) and inked one and painted the other. I used birds, and there is a tiny amount of glitter on the rose. My journaling focuses on looking forward, and I used the words "time" and "horizon".
pattern paper is Sassafras Lass, and die cuts are K & Co. Title strips are Cosmo Cricket.
Journaling says, "It has taken so much time for me to adjust to living in Oklahoma. I still miss Texas, but I'm ready to embrace small town living, and see what lies next on the horizon. Photo taken by Bob (my DH) Spring 2011. Journaling April 2012"
TFL! :)

Comment by Jenny Evans on April 18, 2012 at 11:32pm Great layout, Beth!! Love your little touches...the small title, the ripped pp, your bits of layering under the photo. And OK is not that bad!! ;)
Comment by Joyce Lawrence on April 17, 2012 at 10:16pm Great journaling. Creative way to document the photograph too.
I've lived in a small town for over 25 years now and would not want it any other way. It takes time to ajust but it will eventually grow on you.
Journaling about the wave shape of the cloud would have been nice but, what you decided to write down instead has so much more meaning. Good for you :)
