Thank you Debbie for your nice comments.  Well, we think our gs is pretty special  and he returns the love.  We did not expect to have any more grandchildren as our son was 35 and not married, so his two boys are a real joy, and have really bonded with us.

Thanks Debbi!  I can't begin to tell you how depressed I was getting from all the snow we have been getting. I think we got all of everyone's snow this year.  We don't want it!!!  Don't know what to do with it!!!  Yes!  I said that!  Where do we store twice as much snow as we usually get?  It has to be stored someplace before it melts...in like MAY!  So this has turned into a Wendy mental health trip!  :)  Lots of sun!!!!!  YAY!!!  I'll be refreshed and feel more like scrappin' HAPPY when I get back.  Hugs!!

Hey Debbi!  I came very close to finishing up the last challenge layout before I hopped on a plane for Vegas.  I'm here now soaking up the sun and not scrapping at all. I'm also not missing the tons of snow they're getting back home.  (sure don't want to get back on the plane tho)  So I'll be MIA until the 15th or so.  when I do finish that layout...ultra late...can I still post it?  Its a Disney one so I'll definitely post it on Susan's Disney Scrapper site.  I'm actually pretty happy with it.  ;-)

Well Debi im finally getting started with this group.  Today I went to the scrapbook store to get some papers for case 7 and 8, I even ran into a lady that is also on CSI group. .    Please correct me if I am wrong I can still do case 7 as long as I get it loaded by the time clock on the home page tomorrow and It's ok to use new papers right??   Thanks Glinda

I was thrilled to be "mentioned in dispatches" again.   It means a lot to be recognized by other talented scrappers.  To me the story is central to why I scrap and this site is the only one I know, which actively encourages us to find our 'voice" Thank you   :)

The concentric circles that I made on my latest LO were made by stamping gesso. I used a table mat made of some soft foamlike material that I bought some years ago from IKEA. It's round with a diameter of about 13 inches. I used a brayer to get my gesso in an even layer on the mat and then stamped it on top of the heavy cardboard I use for my backgrounds. I did intend for the mist to kind of float more into the crevices, making the circles stand out even more, but I think I should have used more mist and more diluted for it to do that. However I'm rather pleased with how it turned out! Thanks for taking an interest! MWAH!
